have been doing pt at ikea for 3 days since last fri,

my job is to make kids happy.

it's a simple, robotic, back-breaking yet fulfilling task;

pump balloons and distribute them at the entrance.

the pay is pretty good,

6 bucks an hr.

thank goodness the pump does not require any muscles and brains,

hence the process is smooth and fast.

also,

i can define what a real "hao nan ren" is after working w/ SY since the opening.

will discuss this later after i change a new blog skin haha.

it's the last piece of brainstorming and our group is done!

borrowed 2 story books from library.

one is about this lawyer who forgot to allow her client (a big city bank) to sign a security form,

and on her promotion day,

she found our the form is on her desk,

4 months old,

and the bank lost $50 million to lending money to a construction company.

the construction company went burst,

and the bank siao siao lost a good $5,000,000 lol.

then this lawyer went emotional,

rushed out of the office and got lost in the streets.

she drank and got bad headache,

konocked on a rich resident's door (mansion),

funny thing is,

she don't mind,

i feel shy when pple acknoledge my pressence or job done,
or anything i do or say.
this is important for work in future,
for identity and promotion,
but not my priority now.
the first person i wanna satisfy is..

myself.

if i cant get thru this,
i can't continue to showing pple what i can do.
i dun love myself to some great extend,
i am not a perfectionist,
i am not a hardworker.

i am a believer,
in myself,
and others.
i am no achiever.

seeking acknowlegement is lack of confidence,
which is a weakness,
and an opportunity.
to me,
doing everything at your best,
without guilt or regrets,
not deceiving to oneself,
is the most important.
this is how the word "humble" come about,
this is strength.

but after receiving some profiling from a friend,
i think i will balance seeking acknowledgement from others,
and myself,
in a ratio of 5:5
(depend on situation and mood lol)

don't ya feel guilty and scared of others' opinions if you don't put ya heart to complete a job in the first place?

it is always yourself your conscious is judged at.

people are born with brains and mouths,
to think bad stuff and shoot poison,
to hurt you.
this kind of people...
just ignore.
no need to please them at all.

i do do things quietly at times,
it's ok if pple dun see it,

i love covering blanklet over my mom when she naps in the afternoon!

Rain's "Eternal Rain" is a swell album =)

well,
was busy with marketing campaigns lately,
outdoors mostly.
for instance just finished Eco-encironment Event at Suntec and filling 1380 cushions at Tampines Mall GV Theatres 1 to 8 yesterday,
all took whole day man.
sibey tiring for both major event,
but very happy process and results.
i slept like 10hrs ++ cos too tired physically,
neck and shoulder and upper back aching,
now ok le.
Eco VS GV,
which one is more fun?
of cos is GV la hahaha!
need to run from this cinema to another and fill hundreds of cushions in the RIGHT MANNER before patrons come in,
than make announcement that they're free,
and run to another cinema to help others.
the night before was horrible,
while preparing the cushions,
all tagged and packed accordingly to what cinema at what time and amount and colour.
WOA.
sibey sweaty this week,
but it's only the beginning.
we got MORE events coming up haha.

everything up and down is swedish,

but heng got hot coffee maker/ milo/ tea available at the pantry,

whole morning calling up primary schools,

than lunch at Secret Ingredients,
woa my $8.80 fleww away for chicken lagsane and 50 cent tiny bottled water.

kinda tired after work but happy man today,

did photo shoot for IKEA's ads whole day!

looking at the whole process,

1 item (chair) can take like more than an hr.

the lighting, angle, shadow effects..

guess why i was happy like today?

apart from being fri, my fav day,

we finally dun have to READ MORE MANUALS, REPORTS, ADS & STUFF.

i guess teaching is one of the jobs w the most turnover rates,
i almost got 'turnovered' tonight..
oh it's 3.42am, friday..
so it's last night.
i have tried my best to teach;
answering questions, explaining, hinting , revising on weak points..
but my efforts for this year seem to vanish into thin air.
this year is bad year for me..
full of turmoils and emotions..
tuition alone is already one killer;
i lost 2 siblings,
1 sweet 13 yr old girl,
the remaining 3 failed to show improvement;
2 were constantly failing..
1 stressed-out didnt make it good for prelims..

sigh.

i am such a failiure =(

let me be pessimistic for a while, ya?

apart from tuition trembling in my hands,

well i am finally 20+ 1 day years old.
nothing fancy about my bday,
in fact i was overwhelmed with projects progresses more than this annual celebration.

Shaun Hutson's book, 'Hybrid',
is awesome.
it's about a writer who's stories are getting real each chapter and finally,
incidents begins and the story becomes reality,
danger to be accurate.
well this book is not like Dean Koontz,
it's nicely paragraphed and spaced out,
w short chapters for quick reading.
DK's books also like that la,
but the words sibey tiny.

here, finally something i like!
to some it is simple, uninteresting, unattractive blah,
(i got nudged after i say this to a friend)
to me it is like 'love at 1st sight',
yes it's nicely yellow with a simple rainbow at the back & a person walking on (coughs) electrical/ telephone lines that's like 10m above ground!
the overall blog layout is nice and simple too,
easy navigation, not too loud bright or colourful.
so suitable for me haha,
and it itself favoured amongst other bloggers too.

i cant believe there's such a sweet positive thinking girl like Touru Honda in Fruits Basket..
she simply puts everything before her..
well for those who dunno what i'm babbling about,
i'm talking about the lead girl in this anime.
i know animes are like 'unreal' and anything impossible can happen,
but there is a reason why the pro behind this anime creates such a wonderful girl..
it's for us to remember,
to reflect and learn about ourselves and doings,
whether this kind of 'super nice' personality is with us,
or achievable..
not to extreme unless you are the Guan Ying Niang Niang (Godness of Mercy)..
but that sort of kindness, forgiveness and thoughtfulness should be the seed in everyone's heart.
that's only human.
well,
watch this anime to understand what i say,
or read the comic,
i give it a 9/10..
-1 for making my heart wriggle and melt in every episode,
despite the crazy and funny scenes most of the times hahaha..
animes are addictive, yes they are..
it's becos the author did a great job,
the animators, directors and other staff behind these did a great job.
it has been over 8 years since i watch an anime so heartily,
and i recommend 'Suzuka',
about a bull-headed girl but jelly in heart who lost her senior in a car accident,
and she met this guy who resembles him,
in and out,
and how this guy, Akitsuki, tries so hard to tell her his feelings,
many ups and downs happen in between,
that is when one would start weeping between scenes..

now talking about being touched by anime,
it's been a freaking 3 years since i watch drama shows on tv.
the one that touched me was 'Holland V',
i watch others, not in pursuit mode,
but hmm haven shed any tear since..
are the shows on TV getting monotonous?
what the hell am i saying?!
maybe i should watch more before i say something,
but i have no time T.T
nights are when the best TV shows air,
and that's when i work T.T
it's ok though.

in less than 10 days school is going to start,
timetable's out in days..
i am glad i spent my holidays wisely,
in terms of handling money haha..
and also i really enjoy myself..

when i saw this new comic called 'fruits basket',
i was interested in it,
but i didnt buy them.
instead, i went online to check them out.
it's like WOA, ABOUT THE 12 CHINESE ZODIACS!
definitely a plus for me cos i like eastern and western zodiac/ horoscopes stuff.
so after 1-2 years since the comics come out,
i still didnt buy them,
cos i boght 'love hina' and 'negi the magister' ---> forgot real title, lazy to check!
comic books i meant.
now to my elation,
i can catch 'fruits basket' online as anime,
which is a super plus! visual and audio, plus plus yeah.
but sometimes,
comics stand out more than anime,
in terms of detailed storyline,
for instance 'love hina',
and of cos the characters are better drawn in comics than anime (to me lah).

today mom's noodles was great,
look simple but process was not easy at all.
cooking.. hmm.. i'm not into it totally,
but i guess it's wise to learn SOMETHING other than meggie mee and eggs.

this yr is the yr of the dog,
and i heard from news that ppl are buying dogs on impulse,
and that dog biz is thriving and stuff.
well upon hearing this i know this yr is gonna be a 'wang wang' yr,
but later there's gonna be more poor dogs left by their owners soon..

SPCA will need more volunteers to help out le.

in the past few months i've been going out early and coming home late..
been like 'pang seh' him and he still so dang loyal to me most.
i really love him lor,
